Dr. Duncan Wagstaff

NIHR Academic Clinical Fellow, UCL/UCLH Surgical Outcomes Research Centre

Duncan Wagstaff

Duncan's route into academic anaesthesia has been somewhat indirect; after reading physics at Cambridge he worked as a bond trader for four years in London and Canada. Finally seeing the light, he decided to read medicine at Oxford and has since been enjoying Foundation and Core Training in North Central London.

He is now excited to be starting an Academic Clinical Fellowship at UCL and look forward to developing my research focus. His current interests include Health Services Research, Patient-Reported Outcomes, Peri-operative Medicine and Developing World Anaesthesia.
